Serving others in order to make Christ known
Nursery
Ages 0-3 years old. Currently available for Sunday School and morning worship. Our Nursery was renovated and updated in 2019 to be a bright and cheerful environment in which to care for the little ones. Age appropriate instruction is provided for the babies and toddlers. Directors are Mrs. Marcia Smart and Mrs. Kaeli Findley.
HIS Kids Children’s Ministry
Sunday School & Children’s Church (ages 4 -6 & 2nd grade – 6th grade) is led by Mrs. Melanie Smart with teachers Cheryln Pennington and assistants. The curriculum is the Gospel Project by Lifeway.
CIA (Children In Action)
Children’s Missions on Wednesdays (ages 1st – 6th grade) Children learn about the life of missionaries and the importance of and the work of missions. As well,our kids are given opportunities to participate in their own mission projects. CIA is led by Mrs. Cathy Bertzfield.
Youth
Sunday School & Wednesday Youth Group (7th grade & up). PBBC Youth are led by Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Findley. The Youth also use the Lifeway Gospel Project for their curriculum, as well as studying books of the Bible. We have a newly renovated Youth meeting space that includes a kitchen for their Wednesday meeting meals.
Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School has been combined into one group at this time. We hope to soon divide into other groups as we gain more teachers.
Safety Team
Safety Team is directed by Mr. Chris Doolittle, the Emergency Services Director for McCormick County. There are a host of members who serve on this team. We take seriously the protection of our members and guests. Team members are trained in CPR, AED usage, and monitoring for threats against the church during services.
